Dear Cliff,

As you know we have now received our completion certificates from Building Regulations. We would like to take this opportunity of thanking you and your staff for the consideration and courtesy shown to the whole of my family during the 11 months that you have been working at our house.

Having 4 children aged 1 through to 15 and a couple of energetic friendly dogs it was very important for Helen and I to feel confident that our needs and safety would be paramount.

We decided that it would be possible for us to live on the ground floor of our house while the roof was removed, a new floor and roof then added. When we made the decision we had no idea that we were about to have a very wet and windy summer, starting just as the old roof was removed.

During this time, and throughout the build, your staff made all efforts possible to ensure absolute minimum interruption to us. Some of many examples to the commitment to the job were when Mark visited our house very late one extremely wet and windy night to ensure that the tarpaulins were secure, making ramps for our pushchair, even down to helping to carry the shopping in!

All of your staff have been extremely polite to all members of our family, including the dogs. They have ensured that our house was left tidy, safe and secure at the end of each day. Throughout the time here we have not needed to worry about our younger children hearing bad language nor have we had to worry about shouting or bad tempers, your staff held very positive attitudes to everything that was thrown at them, by mother nature and by a very inquisitive toddler.

We believe that we were aware of some of what to expect during a building project of this size, decisions, changes, finishes etc all have consequential knock on effects to the project. Therefore it has been very important that we have been able to talk to each other whenever the need arose.

With a project like this I guess it was inevitable that changes were going to be needed to cater for things like the existing structure, we have also made alterations to our initial design, as we have watched things evolve. Without our communication this could have proved to be costly and may have delayed completion.

Finally, once again we would like to thank you for your support throughout and ask you to pass on our gratitude to all of your staff.

Dear Sir

Thank you so much for the excellent workmanship, which produced such a lovely sun lounge. I hope I shall have many years of pleasure in it.

Having worked for many years in the building industry I really must congratulate you all on the methods employed and the standard produced. Everyone was so helpful and courteous. The disruption to my normal life was kept to a minimum and everything kept clean and tidy. I don't think I have been on a building site before where there was never any bad language. Everyone was bright and cheerful from start to finish.

From the first meeting to discuss the project, to the final inspection I felt the utmost confidence in the company to deliver a good job and this has been proven. Ace by name and Ace by nature! You certainly chose your trading title very well.

I was kept fully informed and involved throughout the works and I have enjoyed it all immensely. If I ever have any further building works on my property you will be my first port of call, and I will have no hesitation in recommending you to any of my friends and acquaintances, or indeed anyone.

In the Team I also include Nicky who was always polite and helpful. We had some nice chats.

Although I am very happy that the job is finished and am looking forward to using the new facilities I will miss having the boys around. They are a very talented team and a great credit to you.
